The Benefit:

A TON of research shows that FEELING the emotion of gratitude in your body can benefit you physically, emotionally, mentally, and relationally. Any time you can get into a “space” of gratitude, you can see improvements in your emotional stability, your mental clarity, your metabolism and even your quality of sleep!

The How:

Five minutes before bed every night, think, say or write down three things you’re grateful for.(Not just “health” or “family”.) Get small and specific. This way, you’re more likely to elicit the emotion you need to reap the HUGE benefits of an effective gratitude practice.
