The Benefit:

Some of us have trouble getting started… taking that first step. Perfectionists are especially challenged by this! Setting a microgoal is an effective way to hack this problem. Get yourself moving in the direction of your goals by starting super SMALL and IMPERFECTLY.

The How:

If you want to have abs of steel (am I dating myself here?!)… instead of promising yourself 200 sit-ups a day, start with TWO. Do TWO situps today. Tomorrow, maybe you feel like THREE. The point is that microgoals allow us to create realistic expectations, create momentum, build confidence, and eventually who knows, maybe in a six months you’ll be up to 200!
