A Simple Tip for Anxiety

The Benefit:

Want to feel calmer in your body? Want feel less overwhelmed in your mind? Want to rest your brain from the pressures of that neverending to-do list? Spend a few minutes in the afternoon to get SILLY and PLAYFUL. It will allow your brain to reset and your nervous system to settle down a bit.

The How:

Set an alarm, schedule it with your kids, or write yourself a big note on the bathroom mirror. “GET PLAYFUL!” This might look like putting on some fun music, playing catch with the dog, or play hide-and-seek with the kids. No chores. No Netflix. No phone. Just get outside, get down, get loose, get funky!
